Guleid is the chairperson of Human Rights Center (HRC) and a lawyer. He is an alumni of Mandela Washington Fellowship at the Civic Leadership Institute of Rutgers University, U.S.A. He holds Bachelor’s Degree in Laws and Master’s Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from University of Hargeisa, another master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from University of Hargeisa, and Professional Development Diploma Programme on Sustainable Development and Human Rights from the University of Peace, Costa Rica. He is currently studying master’s degree in International Law.
